Star Student Awards

This award is for students who deserve recognition for their outstanding achievement in the following four areas:

Academics, Employment, Student Activity, and Volunteerism. A student can apply for an award in any or all of the four categories, but is only eligible to receive an award in one category. There will be several awards given in each of the four categories. The students chosen will be asked to attend a luncheon sponsored by the North Hennepin Area Chamber of Commerce in late April or early May.

Process for applying for Senior Star Student Award:

• Graduating senior of Brooklyn Center, Champlin Park, Park Center, Osseo, and Maple Grove high schools

• Maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average

• A student may be nominated or apply

• Students will identify on or more of the four categories, they have excelled in but can win an award in only one category: Categories are Academics, Employment, Student Activity, and Volunteerism

• Pick up and complete the application

• Return to the Career Resource Center at your individual school for selection
