The North Hennepin Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has selected a new Executive Director.

Steve Erickson brings over 30 years of successful and diversified marketing, communications, sales, operational and business management leadership to his new position as Executive Director of the North Hennepin Area Chamber of Commerce, which serves businesses, the public and the municipalities of Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Maple Grove and Osseo. Most recently, he led the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which serves Countryside, Hodgkins, Indian Head Park, LaGrange, LaGrange Park, McCook, Western Springs and Willow Springs, all in Cook County, Illinois.
Steve has served as president, senior sales and marketing officer and general manager for several services, loyalty, performance management and manufacturing companies including S&H Motivation, Inc.(Hillside IL), Motivation Excellence, Inc. (Schaumburg IL), Winsert, Inc. (Marinette WI), Dahlberg Electronics, Inc. (Minneapolis), Carlson Marketing Group (Minneapolis) and his own management and marketing consultant firm, The Performance Alliance, Inc. In the process, he has created over 2,500 marketing, business, communications and performance management solutions for the majority of the Fortune 500 industrial firms as well as a host of financial institutions and a large number of small and mid-size companies. Over 12 years of his experience came during his residence in the Twin Cities area.
A native Minnesotan (Audubon) and father of 4, Steve earned a Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude from the University of Illinois at Springfield and is also a graduate of Brown Institute (now College) of Broadcasting, Minneapolis. He took advanced studies in Product Development and Implementation from the University of Chicago. “The North Hennepin Area Chamber presents an enormous range of solutions, ideas and collective experience of tremendous value to current and prospective members as well as to the municipalities it serves,” said Steve. “I’m honored to have an opportunity to build a powerful expansion of those values and can’t wait to get started!”
