Active membership pays real dividends in the form of more business, better living conditions, and a more attractive and desirable community. This committee provides both the Ambassador and their member company with increased exposure within the communities as well as additional business opportunities.

Business Expo Committee

Chamber Networking Groups - Noon

Both Groups meet at the Chamber office
Chamber Networking Groups (CNG) meet for one hour at least twice a month to exchange information about their businesses, share leads, and enjoy each other's company. Unlike one-time networking events, this group builds long term relationships between members and then leverages those relationships into other networks of business connections.
Golf Committee
This event is a great day for networking, food, fun fellowship and prizes. It’s a wonderful way to promote your business.
Manufacturer's Forum Committee
The Manufacturer's Forum serves as an advisory grop to assist in meeting the needs of the manufacturing community by networking, sharing best practices, education and community involvement.
Marketing Committee
This group focus on maximizing the Chamber's ability to communicate its message to the membership, community and governmental entities.
Winter Gala/Silent Auction
This annual grand silent auction and dinner event is a fabulous marketing and networking opportunity.

The purpose of the Governmental Relations Committee of the North Hennepin Area Chamber of Commerce is (1) to foster good relations among and between business and elected and/or appointed government officials on the local, state and federal levels; (2) to monitor and make recommendations to the Board of Directors for action upon specific legislative issues on behalf of the business community of North Hennepin County; and (3) to lay the groundwork for orderly economic growth and visionary change for the community.
The mission of the Governmental Relations Committee is to serve as a liaison to government on behalf of business to influence, inform and promote constructive government/business relations.
It is a vital, informal communication link among the government bodies of the Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Maple Grove, and Osseo City Councils, Hennepin County Board of Commissioners, members of the Minnesota. House of Representatives and the Minnesota Senate who represent any or all of Hennepin County, and members of the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate who represent any or all of Hennepin County.
